Walking into El Centro is like walking into your grandmother’s kitchen, that is, if your grandmother’s kitchen is in Hermosillo, Mexico. Chef/co-owner Allan Rodriguez has brought his version of Mexico to Boston, complete with real family recipes, house-made tortillas, spiced sangrias, and authentic micheladas. A warm, inviting space, El Centro’s walls are home to authentic Mexican artwork, original photographs, and handmade decorations from Mexico.
Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff. The chicken enchiladas and fresh guacamole are delicious. Service is fast and the food is fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Best Mexican food around! Try the quesadilla; it is huge! My gf and I also got the fish tacos and veggie tacos. Both were excellent. They give you a lot of fish. Drinks are good and the atmosphere is awesome. Open and outdoor seating available.
We went for brunch. Cozy atmosphere but large inside. Service was excellent and the margaritas were top notch. We will def go again for dinner
